Porter Ranch Pilates Plus, a Pilates Studio located in Porter Ranch offers a fresh and innovative workout specifically designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body quickly and safely. The body responds more to intensity than it does to the duration of a workout. A more intense workout burns more calories per minute, and results in a much stronger post-exercise reaction (also called Post Cardio Effect). After an SPX class, you will continue to burn calories much faster for several hours. At our Pilates Studio in Porter Ranch we practice a combination of weight training and Pilates. Pilates Plus utilizes the best of both: the strengthening and toning benefits of weight training, and the lengthening and postural enhancing benefits of Pilates in a circuit training sequence. The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more or less time to recover. We recommend three times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. But some students love the workout so much that they come 5 or 6 times a week. It’s up to you.
